The Little Lake Health Centre is growing and looking for two (2) permanent, blended capitation model family physicians to round out the team in Barrie.
Reimbursement

As Barrie is designated by the Ministry of Health as a high needs area, you will be eligible for Income Stabilization (up to 200k) for the first year with us, while we help build your practice from our existing wait list. Additional opportunities for out-of-basket and 3rd party funding are available through our non-roster focused programs and dermatology-cosmetics clinic.
Support Team

Our management, clinical (RN, RPN, clinical assistants) and administrative staff have created a professional and collegial environment, premised on our ability to adapt to the unique style and pace of each of our physicians to maximize their patient flow. We leverage the clinical expertise of SE Health to  Today we support an interprofessional team of 10 Barrie FHO family physicians and specialists (rheumatologist, obstetrician-gynecologist and dermatologist).
Technology  

As a Family Physician you would be supported through the Barrie FHT and FHO comprising nearly 100 local family physicians all of whom share the same Accuro EMR caring for approximately 140,000 patients. This EMR is also used in all affiliated walk-in clinics which simplifies your afterhours FHO obligations. Along with the Accuro EMR we also equip you with virtual care capabilities, a secure email account (ONEMail) and dedicated exam rooms and office space, furnished with PCs, phones and printers.
COVID-19

Along with new protocols for patient flow into the waiting and exam rooms, new PPE supplies and guidelines to match those outlined by Public Health Ontario, plexiglass barrier for all our workstations and desks, and floor markings to remind patients and staff of appropriate spacing, we are also implementing new ways to support our physician team to deliver the care (virtual and in-person) our patients expect, in a way that keeps us all safe.
Location

We occupy a full floor in a state-of-the-art medical Centre, built in 2015 and located less than 1km away from Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and Highway 400. Additional health services available on-site, include a pharmacy, Life Labs, Georgian Radiology and other allied health services.

The Centre is managed by SE Health, is a Canadian not-for-profit social enterprise providing health care services across many areas of the health system, including home and community care, long-term care, acute care and primary care for over 110 years. We apply our clinical experience and expertise to ensure that you can provide care that is safe and of the highest quality.
