Barrie Area Physician Recruitment with the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is actively recruiting for the following Emergency Medicine Positions:

Chief Department Emergency Medicine - Experienced Emergency Department leader to work in a program management model with the Department Director to lead the Department into the expansion and redevelopment of the department.   We are seeking a clinical leader with strong management skills to build on the strong clinical and academic program we have established and help us grow and improve our patient flow models.

Emergency Department Physicians:  We are recruiting Emergency Physicians to join our group of 30+ full and part-time Emergency Physicians.  We are expanding our department coverage by adding an additional shift each day for a total of 9 or 10- 8 hour shifts per day.  We have a very attractive funding model with a blended fee for service /guaranteed shift minimums, very flexible shift scheduling and strong consultant back-up.  We require FRCP, CCFP (EM) or extensive experience

Locum Physicians, Department of Emergency Medicine:  We are looking for Emergency Physicians interested in providing locum services May to Sept 2012 during our move into our new, state of the art Emergency Department. We anticipate a large surge in ED visit volume during the summer months and move into our new department.  We offer attractive funding (Fee for service or hourly stipend), considerable back-up (multiple Ed MDs on shift, excellent specialist back-up) and flexible full or part-time shifts.
