Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is a 388-bed community hospital in Barrie, Ontario, located 80 kilometres north of Toronto. As the largest hospital in the region of North Simcoe Muskoka, it provides specialty services to almost half a million Central Ontario residents. RVH’s team of over 400 physicians, 2,500 employees and 850 volunteers provides exceptional care and specialty services to North Simcoe Muskoka residents, including cancer care, stroke services, orthopaedics, intensive care, mental health and interventional radiology. RVH is focused on delivering high-quality, safe care that puts patients and their families first. RVH provides care for over 560,000 patients annual, 86,800 Emergency Room visits, 82,600 Cancer Centre visits, 2,447,839 Lab tests, 205,900 Imaging tests, 15,200 Surgeries and 1,950 Births.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a current FRCP(C) in Internal Medicine as per the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and hold, or be eligible to hold, an Independent Practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
