Permanent Full-Time Palliative Care Physician
Are you a compassionate and dedicated physician with a passion for palliative care? Join our esteemed healthcare team at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) in Barrie, Ontario. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Palliative Care Physician to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:

	
Provide comprehensive palliative care services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
	
Conduct palliative care consultations for inpatients with HOCC funding
	
Run outpatient palliative clinics in oncology and community settings
	
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
	
Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and educational activities
	
Provide support and education to patients, families, and colleagues regarding palliative care

Requirements:

	
Valid medical license in the province of Ontario
	
Certification in Family Medicine from the Canadian College of Family Physicians (CCFP) with a preference for applicants with a Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) in Palliative Care or
	
Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) in Palliative Care
	
Demonstrated experience and competence in providing palliative care services
	
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
	
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
