The division of general surgery at Royal Victoria Hospital is seeking a full-time general surgeon to join our diverse group. Our current group consists of eleven General Surgeons (8 full time equivalents) who work in a vibrant and collegial hospital setting with an attached regional cancer centre and closed ICU. The successful candidate must be a RCPSC certified General Surgeon, licensed to practice in Ontario. Operating Room, Endoscopy and Minor Procedures time is shared equally amongst the group. Opportunities for teaching, and a faculty position with the University of Toronto are available to the successful candidate.
RVH is a 462-bed hospital. It includes the Simcoe-Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre and offers access to surgical services, interventional radiology, critical care, interventional cardiology, mental health, rehabilitation services and women’s and children’s programs. We are also a designated Gynecologic Oncology Centre.
