General Neurologist

        The Royal Victoria Regional Health Center is currently looking for 3 General Neurologists. Candidates should have an interest in practicing general neurology and providing inpatient and outpatient services. General neurologists with an interest in any area of neurology are encouraged to apply. The Royal Victoria Regional Health Center has been awarded Stroke Distinction in acute and rehabilitation stroke services. RVH is one of only 10 Hospitals in Canada to receive this designation, demonstrating strong stroke leadership. RVH has a Stroke Prevention Clinic, is an Enhanced District Stroke Centre and Telestroke is in place. The applicant must hold or be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario. RVH is an official teaching site of the University of Toronto, Department of Family and Community Medicine, with a state of the art Family Medicine Teaching Unit. Faculty appointments are available and encouraged. We have well established GP hospitalist services and a completely hospital-based GIM model, closed ICU and CCU, and internal medicine ambulatory clinics. EEG facility is on site, with planned expansion of electrophysiological services. Participation in electrophysiological services is encouraged. Come join us at our beautiful lakeside town.
